Willow Creek Mansion (Formerly Stinchcomb)

Willow Creek Mansion Front

Willow Creek Mansion is one of the oldest, most historic, victorian like, wedding venues in Tulsa. The house was built in 1904, before Oklahoma was established as a statehood. Giving it, character, charm & history you can’t find anywhere else. The Mansion actually has 7 different staircases, not including the 2 that go down to the basement. None of which actually lead to one another.

But, The beauty & character of Willow Creek Mansion is not all you will gain when booking events there! They also offer one-of-a-kind service. They make your wedding personal for their staff & it becomes evident as they strive to create a unique & unforgettable wedding experience for every couple.

History

Willow Creek Mansion, formerly Stinchcomb Mansion, has a rich history as Broken Arrow’s Victorian Jewel! When Cortney & Jeremy Gertner purchased the mansion from the previous owner in 2017, they had a dream to bring it back to life! Cortney says, “It was all God! This is all thanks to Him. God was the one who put the desire of opening a wedding venue on my heart about a year & a half ago. I had no experience in the wedding industry. This wasn’t some big dream of mine as a little girl. So going into this I was completely relying on God & trusting in His plan, but I also continue to believe in Him & the plans He has in store for Willow Creek Mansion. My faith has grown so much stronger because of this whole experience & I’ve really learned to put God first in everything We do.

The future hold so much for Willow Creek! Cortney & Jeremy have plans for A Willow Creek Mansion Bed & Breakfast. They hope to start the process this summer 2018 & finish out one part of the second floor & turn it into a Bed & Breakfast on Main  Street Broken Arrow. It will have a honeymoon suite & 3 additional bedrooms.

We know you have questions! Every bride does! Time is passing & you’re so excited about your big day! We have provided our list of FAQs that brides ask the ladies at GC so you can have more knowledge in planning your day! If there’s a question you don’t see answered here, please reach out & we will answer super fast!

Q: How far out should a bride pay a deposit to secure Willow Creek Mansion for her wedding day?

It’s usually a good idea to book the Mansion at least 12 to 18 months in advance, but I tell every bride if in doubt it’s always better to book right away! The date is not secured without a 50% deposit & a signed contract. If she has a special day she would like it’s always a good idea to secure it.

Q: What is included when a couple books your venue for their wedding?

Any of our weekend packages whether it be, The Blanche Friday Package, The Myrtle Saturday Package or The Bobby Jo Sunday Package, Includes 10 hours for setup & event, Bridal Suite with lounge & makeup area for bride & bridesmaids, as well as Groom chambers & cigar lounge for groom & groomsmen to relax. Our prices include the option to use Willow Creek Mansion for either engagement, bridal sessions or boudoir photos (photographer not included). We also offer 10 – 60″ Round Tables with white linens, 10 – 6 ft. Rectangular Tables with white linens & 150 Banquet chairs with white chair covers. Willow Creek Mansion also offers an open vendor policy, which means we are happy to work with your preferred vendors. However, we also have a preferred vendor list & can highly recommend different vendors upon request.

Q: How many guests can you accommodate?

The ballroom can seat up to 150 guests (depending on layout & style). The dreamy backyard is also great to utilize if you need more space for your guests.

Q: What was your favorite wedding last year?

We were a little late in the season by the time we “officially” opened for business, but I do believe it would have to be our Spontaneous Free Wedding in September that we had after our photoshoot for The Brides of Oklahoma Magazine. Megan, owner of Poppy’s Garden had a wonderful idea of offering a free wedding at Willow Creek Mansion to a couple that would be able to use all of the gorgeous flowers within 24 hours. It was one of  the most rewarding times of my life. Our first wedding here at Willow Creek Mansion was a free one! Haha. The amazing couple who reached out to us got married on September 20th, 2017. They will forever hold a special place in my heart & are the sweetest, most loving & appreciative couples I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so far. I am so glad we were able to bless them in their journey of marriage & life!
