My style goal was a magical winter. Everyone told me I looked like a snow fairy/queen so I think I achieved that goal haha. The Belvidere looked so beautiful at the ceremony. The florist did a great job!
Adam – 🙋♂️ She really did look like a fairy queen. Everything looked better than I could have ever imagined!
Adam & Cassie had their gorgeous ceremony surrounded by family & friends at the quaint but beautiful Wedding Chapel in Claremore, OK.
Adam & Cassie:
Your dress was gorgeous! Tell us about it:
Cassie – My dress was worn by my grandmother (maternal) at her wedding in 1960. She bought the dress for $100. I had wanted an off-the-shoulder dress, so while we were in the fitting process she managed to pull the sleeves off the shoulder without cutting any of the fabric off. There were beaded appliqués which we added. These had been left over from when my grandmother made my moms wedding dress. I loved the classic look of it, plus the family history.
Adam – She looked so beautiful in it. It took my breath away! Words don’t do it justice!
Omgoodness! your flowers were so beautiful! Describe the look!
Cassie – My bouquet was so wonderfully wintery! ❄ The florist used several kinds of pine, eucalyptus, roses, berries, & some orchids. I had a flower crown that included berries, eucalyptus, & a few small flowers. The bridesmaids had smaller versions that included one rose, berries, & pine. The boutonnières were a sprig of pine, a few berries, & a pine cone.
What was one of the most emotional parts of the day for you? 😊
Cassie – When we were getting ready to do the first look, & I’m on the second floor so excited. Butterflies galore! I just couldn’t wait to go outside.
Adam – Waiting outside for the first look is definitely up there. Also saying “I do” at the ceremony. I couldn’t believe it was finally happening & She was becoming my wife!
